Are you using the right compartment?
A common mistake is pouring detergent directly into the drum. Although the doses are designed for this purpose, most liquid or powder detergents are more effective when poured into the designated compartment. This allows the washing machine to release the detergent at the right time during the wash cycle.
Most detergent drawers have three compartments:
Prewash compartment (usually marked with the letter "I")
Main wash compartment (labeled "II")
Fabric softener compartment (marked with a flower or star symbol)
Each has a different purpose:
The prewash compartment is designed for longer wash cycles or heavily soiled clothes.
In the main wash compartment, you should put your usual detergent.
The fabric softener compartment is designed for softening or color-protecting additives, which are released during the final rinse.
Important: Never exceed the maximum fill level indicated inside each compartment. Overfilling can cause leaks or reduce washing efficiency.
