10 signs of kidney problems
Constant fatigue, fluid retention, pallor of the skin... These everyday symptoms may seem insignificant. But in reality, they can be a sign of impaired kidney function. When the kidneys begin to work worse, the whole organism suffers. The good news is that if the symptoms are recognized in time, you can effectively help yourself.
Do you listen to your body's signals?
Abnormal urine – a key indicator
Foam, dark color, blood in the urine, or frequent urination – especially at night – any changes in the type or frequency of urination should make you think. Often these are the first signs of kidney failure.
Constant fatigue despite getting a good night's sleep
If you feel constantly exhausted, even after a good rest, it may be anemia caused by impaired kidney function. The kidneys do not filter well the toxins that accumulate and weaken the body.
Pale and lifeless complexion
Pale skin combined with shortness of breath or dizziness can indicate low hemoglobin levels – often associated with kidney problems. This is a signal that the body needs help.
Unusual edema
Swelling on the lower legs, eyelids, hands for no apparent reason can indicate that the kidneys do not properly expel water and salt. Such edema is typical in kidney disorders.
